MISSION STATEMENT
Our oceans, rivers, and lakes cover more than 70% of Earth and it’s imperative we take care of them as over three billion people depend on marine and coastal health for their livelihoods. Over-fishing and pollution, human caused problems, continue to wreak havoc on marine ecosystems all over the world. We as a species must come together to fix the problem. Golden Surf is committed to this positive change and we encourage all customers to do their part in any way they can. We are partnered with the The Ocean Foundation, the only global community foundation dedicated to saving oceans around the world. 1% of every purchase will go towards the Ocean Foundation in support of their work.
The Ocean Foundation
The Ocean Foundation's mission is "to support, strengthen and promote those organizations dedicated to reversing the trend of destruction of ocean environments around the world." Utilizing an international advisory of scientists and policy makers, the experience and passion behind their work is very real. They work to serve partners who are passionate like them about the oceans, and they raise millions of dollars each year from governments, individuals, and corporate donors who also believe in the necessity for healthy and protected oceans.

Project AWARE
Project AWARE is a non-profit organization that “connects the passion for ocean adventure with the purpose of marine conversation.” They have personally removed, with teams of scuba divers, over 1.6 million pieces of debris from our oceans in 182 countries. They are committed to creating real change through policy and have been for almost the past three decades. STC
The Sea Turtle Conservancy, formed in 1959, is the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group. An international non-profit organization, their goal since the beginning has been to save sea turtles from their impending extinction through strictly science based conservation efforts. The organization has recovered the sea turtle populations in areas all around the world and continues to educate people on vital information regarding the species.
Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC)
Whale and Dolphin Conservation, as you can guess by the name, is the leading global charity dedicated to protecting whales and dolphins internationally. They work and collaborate with scientists to further their four main goals which are to: end captivity, stop whaling, create healthy seas, and prevents dolphins and whales from dying in fishing gear. They achieve their objectives through scientific research and governmental cooperation, and they do it all over the world.
